Richard is Managing Director of Tufferman is a fast growing, privately funded, on-line and direct marketing retailer of multi-functional, boltless shelving. With a specific focus on targeting the domestic & business to business sectors.

This new venture was borne out of the experience Richard gained during his 15-year tenure with Field & Trek a multi-channel business retailing outdoor clothing & equipment. Richard spent 5 years as Marketing Director and was then appointed Managing Director in 1999. The business expanded over this period peaking at a turnover of £19m before selling the business in 2007 to a large UK sportswear retailer.

Ongarmill Properties is an investment vehicle for Richard’s commercial property interests.

Richard is married with 2 children and enjoys skiing and keeping fit.
